2 Shanghai(Sunday) |
Visit
the Bund, the splendid row of early 20th century European buildings
remains the quintessential Shanghai sight. This morning you will visit
Yuyuan Garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style garden. Visit the
marvelous Shanghai Museum, whose galleries contain world-class
collections of ancient arts and artifacts. Stop by Children's Palace,
where Chinese youngsters engage in extracurricular activities. Enjoy
a delicious Shanghai
cuisine dinner at the Hotel.

3 Shanghai-Yichang(Monday) |
Visit
the Jade Buddha Temple, an active religious site in an old
part of the city. The next religious site you will see is the St.
Ignatius Cathedral built in 1846. Move on to wander around the former
French Concession laid out by the French in 1909, represented by the
leafy Fuxing park and the architecture in the area. Take a
late afternoon flights to Yichang, a river port by the Three
Gorges Dam site. Upon arrival, Board the 4

4 Yangzi River Cruise |
Take
an excursion to Three Gorges Dam & Locks, the world's largest
hydroelectric project and the newest attraction on the Yangzi cruise

Continue
your journey up the Yangzi. The highlight of today's cruise is to
be thrilled at one of China's greatest natural wonders -- the Three
Gorges of Yangzi river, featuring towering peaks and sheer cliffs.
The gorges began to form 70 million years ago when two mountain ranges
collided and the river began to erode the gorges to their present
state. The appeal of the Yangzi lies not only in its natural beauty
but also in the cultural and historical significance the river has
embedded in the nearby. Discover the hidden charm in the lesser gorges
by boating on the fabled Shennong Stream (or the little three

6 Yangzi River Cruise |
Pass
though the shortest and narrowest Gorge - Qutang Xia. Visit Fengdu,
city of Devils, for a view of its imposing temples with statues

7 Chongqing-Beijing |
Cruise
ends at Chongqing in the morning. Upon disembarking, enjoy a brief
city tour of the most famous mountain city in China
and stop by the zoo to get a close look at the giant panda.
Take an afternoon flight to Beijing.

8 Beijing |
Begin
the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest.
Then, move on to the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden
City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China.
After lunch visit the enchanting Summer Palace, one of China's
largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. Peking Duck Dinner

9 Beijing |
Today's
highlight is your visit to the Great Wall, symbol of Chinese
civilization. Visit the Temple of Heaven, where you will certainly

Transfer
to the airport and board your homebound flight. Arrive in your country
