the capital of China, in the afternoon by plane from Canada, picked
up at the airport and sent to the hotel
for a rest. |

Day2:
Beijing |
Visit
the Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City and the Temple
of Heaven. |

Day3:
Beijing |
Full
day excursion to the Great Wall, Chang Tomb and the
Sacred Road. |

Day4:
Beijing/Luoyang |
Visit
the Summer Place and a Hutong family (without richshaw
ridding or touring the Liulichang street). leave Beijing
for Luoyang
by overnight train (hard sleeper). |

Day5:
Luoyang |
Arrive
in Luoyang,
the center of Chinese Kong Fu, in the morning, transfer to
Hotel, visit the
Pagoda Forrest, Shaolin Temple and the Folk Art Museum. |

Day6:
Luoyang/ Xi'an |
Half
day tour of the Longmen Grottoes. Leave Luoyang
at 12:56 by Train K761 and arrive in Xi'an
at 18:40, the ancient capital for 13 dynasties. |

Day7:
Xi'an |
Visit
the eighth wonder of the world ----- Terro-Cotta Warriors,
the Bronze Carriage and the Ban Po Village. |

Day8:
Xi'an/ Chengdu |
Visit
Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Walls, the Stele
Forrest and the Great Mosque. Leave Xi'an
by Train K165 at 22:16. |

Day9:
Chengdu/Leshan |
Arrive
Chengdu
at 14:00. picked up and driven about 2 hours to Leshan. visit the
Leshan Giant Buddha. Stay in Leshan. |

Day10:
Leshan/E'mei Shan/Panzhihua |
Via
one-way cable car (up) visit the Wannian Temple, White Dragon
Cave and the Qingyin Tower in the Emei Mountain, one of
the four most famous Buddhist mountains in China. Visit the Emei
Mountain Museum. Leave Emei Mt by overnight train to Panzhihua. |

Panzhihua/Lijiang |
Arrive
Panzhihua at 07:40. After breakfast, take a bus driving to Lijiang,
a city full of poetic and ancient atmosphere with its buildings and
streets. |

Day12:Lijiang
|
Visit
the Old Town of Lijiang, Black Dragon Pool, Longquan
Village, Yulong Mountain, Dragon Spruce Meadow and
Dongba Sacred Garden. |

Day13:
Lijiang / Zhongdian |
Full
day bus drive to Zhongdian, the legendary shangri-la in China,
with a stop at the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the first gorge along
the Yangstz river. Stay in Zhongdian. |

Day14:
Zhongdian |
Visit
the Songzanlin Monastery, the Blue Pagoda lake and a
local Tibetan family. |

Day15:
Zhongdian / Dali |
Full
day drive on the tour bus to Dali, a relaxed place popular for its
charming landscape, its mild climate and the hospitaliy of its people. |

Day16:
Dali/Kumming |
Take
Erhai Lake cruise and taste the Three Courses of Tea. Visit
the inhabitance of the Bai Nationality, the Xizhou Town and the Acient
Town of Dali. Overnight train to Kunming. |

Day17:
Kunming |
Fly
to Kunming,
"City of Eternal Spring" in the morning visit the Stone
Forrest, and provincial museum. |

Day18:
Kunming/Guilin |
Visit
Hua Ting Temple, the Western Hills and the Dragon Gate.
Leave Kunming
by plane to Guilin. |

Day19:
Guilin/Yangshuo |
Visit
the Seven Star Park, the Reed Flute Cave. Drive to Yangshuo.
Take Li river cruise by small boats from Yangshuo. |

Day
20: Yangshuo/Guilin/Shanghai |
You
may want to take an optional tour to see the suburban area of Yangshuo.
Drive back to Guilin.
Fly to Shanghai,
the modernest city in China. |

21: Shanghai |
Visit
the Yuyuan Garden, the free market outside and Jade Buddha
Temple, stroll along the waterfront "The Bund". |

Visit
the Museum of Art and History, Children's Palace. |
