1 Arrive Beijing |
Arrive
Beijing,
the capital of the People's Republic of China.
Meet your guide upon arrival and transfer to your comfortable hotel.

2 Beijing |
A
stroll on Tiananmen square starts your your first full day
in China.
Today's next stop will be the "Forbidden City". After
lunch, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, then check out
Liulichang, a traditional street lined with art & craft shops
and antique stores. A Peking Duck dinner in the evening. (B-L-D) |

Day
3 Beijing-Tunxi |
Take
a morning excursion to the Great Wall. On your way back, stop
by a mountain village and meet local residents. Take a late afternoon
flight to Tunxi. Check in Hotel.

Day
4 Wenquan |
A
visit to Tunxi's historic Lao Jie (Old Street). Later, go to
Hongcun and Xidi villages in Yixian County for a visit. Arrive at
the foothill town Wenquan (Hot Spring) around lunch time and
check in Hotel. Hike
around the scenic sites nearby, such as Taoyuan Stream and Waterfalls.

5 Yellow Mountain |
Today
you start the ascent from Mercy Light Temple, where there is a
gondola available to take you up to Yuping Lou (Jade Screen
Pavilion), then follow trails to explore Tiandu Feng (Celestial
Capital Peak) and Lianhua Feng (Lotus Flower Peak). You
will continue your climb through Baibu Yunti (Ladder in the Clouds)
and arrive at your hotel,

6 Yellow Mountain |
You
will explore the peak circuit and several side trails, including trails
leading to Lion Peak and to Beginning-to-Believe Peak.
Back to the main circuit and moving clockwise to explore the lonely
tower of Feilai Rock and Danxia Feng (Red Cloud Peak). (B-L-D) |

Day
7 Tunxi |
Get up early in the morning if you want to watch the sunrise near
your hotel. After breakfast, you descend from the peaks along the
eastern steps. You will pass some very interesting sites on your way
down. At Yungu (Cloud Valley), you will be picked up by a motor
coach and drive to Shexian County where was prospered in the
seventeenth century. Return to Tunxi in the evening and overnight
at Hotel. (B-L) |

Day
8 Tunxi-Shanghai |
Fly
to Shanghai
in the morning. Visit the Bund, the splendid row of early 20th
century European buildings, which still remains the quintessential
Shanghai sight. Stop by Yuyuan garden, a well-restored Suzhou-style
garden built in 1559. Afternoon, you will explore the St. Ignatius
Cathedral built in 1846. Move on to wander around the leafy Fuxing
Park and architecture in the area. Check in Hotel.

9 Shanghai |
In
the morning, visit Shanghai Museum, a leading attraction of
the city since it opened in 1994. The rest of the day is free for
your own exploration. Enjoy a Shanghai cuisine dinner at hotel.

10 Return |
Transfer
to the airport and board your homebound flight. Arrive in your country
on the same day. (B) |
