2 Beijing |
Morning
tour to Tiananmen Square, located in the heart of the capital,
and the Imperial Palace, known as the Forbidden City - one of the
greatest feats of ancient Chinese architecture. Afternoon sightseeing
includes Summer Palace - a former summer resort area of the

3 Beijing |
Full
day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China. It
is one of the most amazing feats of human labour - the only man-made
construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive
to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble
figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of

4 Beijing - Xi'an |
Visit
the Temple of Heaven, the largest temple complex remaining
in China
today. An afternoon flight takes you to Xi'an,
the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. City
tour begins with a visit to the ancient City Wall, which was

5 Xi'an |
Full
day excursion to the unparalleled highlight Terra-Cotta Warriors
and Horses at the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor in China.
A visit to Banpo Village - the remains of a Neolithic village
dating back 6,000 years. Primitive tools and household utensils are
displayed in the Banpo Museum. Time permits, visit factory where copies
of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses are made. Visit the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda which was built in 652A.D. It contains a large volume
of Buddhist scriptures which were obtained from India by the eminent

6 Xi'an -Luoyang |
Take
the train to the ancient city Luo
Yang, hence the name "Capital of nine Dynasties". You
will pass by the Hua Shan Mountain, one of the five famous
Mountain in China.
In the afternoon arrive Luoyang.
Transfer to your Hotel.

7 Luoyang |
Whole
day excursion to the Shaolin Tempel, the temple situated at
the foot of Song Shan Mountain-the central of the five sacred mountains
in China. The temple
was found in A.D. 527 by a monk, Bodhidharma. He developed a form
of physical movement which is based on the natural motions of animals.
Hence the origin of Shao Lin Kung Fu. Visit the Luoyang Folk

8 Luoyang - Nanjing |
Visit
the Long Men Grottoes, built in the year 494, during the Northern
Wei Dynasty, the Long Men Grottoes is one of China's three leading
treasure house of grotto art, with 2,100 grottoes. The larges Buddhist
sculpture stands 17.14 meters tall. Take the Overnight train with
first class "soft sleeper" in China
to Nanjing.

9 Nanjing |
Morning
arrive Nanjing,
transfer to your Hotel for the breakfast. Nanjing,
a well-known ancient capital of China
for six different dynasties. Begin your exploration today with the
mighty double check Yangtze
River Bridge. Then onward to the imposing Mausoleum of Dr.
Sun Yat-sen and the site of Ming Emperor's Tomb and

10 Nanjing - Wuxi |
Journey
by rail (or by bus, for the biggroup) to Wuxi, known as the "Land
of Rice and Fish". Your visit in Wuxi includes the Plum Garden,

11 Wuxi - Suzhou |
A
cruise on Taihu Lake in the morning, then a visit to Turtle
Head Island. Leave Wuxi for Suzhou
by afternoon train (or by Bus). Suzhou,
known as the garden of China, is famous for its embroidery. You may
visit Humble Administrator's Garden and Tiger Hill. (B-L-D) |

12 Suzhou - Hangzhou |
Board
a canal boat for a leisurely cruise along the ancient Grand Canal
in the morning. You may visit the Embroidery Institute and attend
demonstrations at the Silk Factory. Take afternoon train (or
by train) to the idyllic city of Hangzhou.

13 Hangzhou |
A
full day tour to appreciate the incomparably lovely West Lake
with its soaring bridges and flower-bright islets. Enjoy a boat ride
on West Lake. Visit Huqingyutang, a pharmacy shop and museum
of traditional Chinese medicine. Later in the afternoon, visit the
Lingyin Temple in the lush green hills northwest of the city.

14 Hangzhou - Shanghai |
Visit
a tea plantation growing the famous Longjing green tea, and
the Pagoda of Six harmonies in the morning. Take afternoon
train to Shanghai, the bustling commercial heart of China. City tour
begins with a stroll along the lovely waterfront "The Bund".

Sightseeing
includes the Temple of the Jade Buddha where two rare jade
statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured, then a visit to the fascinating
Yuyuan Garden and the Museum of Art and History. Remainder

Transfer
