Full day excursion to the Great Wall - the landmark of China.
It is one of the most amazing feats of human labour - the only man-made
construction on earth visible from outer space. After lunch, a drive
to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble
figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of
the Ming Dynasty. |

A cruise on Taihu Lake in the morning, then a visit to Turtle
Head Island. Leave Wuxi for Suzhou by afternoon train. Suzhou,
known as the garden of China,
is famous for its embroidery. You may visit Humble Administrator's
Garden and Tiger Hill. |

To Hangzhou
Board a canal boat for a leisurely cruise along the ancient Grand
Canal in the morning. You may visit the Embroidery Institute and attend
demonstrations at the Silk Factory. Take afternoon train to
the idyllic city of Hangzhou. |

A full day tour to appreciate the incomparably lovely West Lake
with its soaring bridges and flower-bright islets. Enjoy a boat ride

Visit a tea plantation growing the famous Longjing green tea, and
the Pagoda of Six harmonies in the morning. Take afternoon train to
Shanghai,
the bustling commercial heart of China.
