As preparations are now in full swing, the 12th Heilongjiang International Skiing Festival is set to open on Dec. 12th in northeast China's city of Harbin.
A rich array of skiing related products are expected to be unveiled across the Heilongjiang province, as well as hundreds of winter festivals, skiing competitions and popular entertainment activities, most of which will launch promotional packages to lure tourists.
During the four month skiing festival, Harbin will also hold skiing related expos, including the 25th international sports products expo, badminton tournaments and much more.
Following the successful Harbin 24th World University Winter Games, the northeastern-most province will incorporate a continuous wave of diverse activities to promote its unique travel resource in skiing and skating, such as 'World Ice and Snow Value Year' and 'Four Ones Value Project', according to a spokesman with the Heilongjiang Tourism Bureau.
