"We notified the citizens who have made reservation to go through procedures for
Entry Permit of Mainland Residents to Taiwan this morning, and we also delegated
some working personnel to provide assistance to them." Zhang Zhenhui, manager of
Planning & Logistics Center of Outbound Tourism of China International Travel
Service (Anhui), told the reporter yesterday. At present, such work as preparing for the
air tickets for the first tour group and local travel agencies in Taiwan is under way. The
reporter learned that China International Travel Service (Anhui) and China Youth Travel
Service (Anhui) will jointly organize "the First Tour Group to Taiwan". The first tour
group of about 234 visitors will be divided into three teams due to such reasons as air
ticket limitation and limitation on the number of visitors and the three teams will leave
for Taiwan successively.
Wang Qian, manager of the Outbound Tourism Department in China Youth Travel
Service (Anhui), told the reporter that most citizens go through procedures for Entry
Permit of Mainland Residents to Taiwan for the first time. In order to save time, the
travel agency notified by telephoning the citizens who have made reservation to go
through the procedures according to schedule. At present, they are arranging the
schedules according the preconcerted order by the citizens. The three teams of the
first tour group will set out on April 23, April 24, and April 26 respectively, and there is
no difference among the reception standard and journey for the three teams.
