For the train from Beijing to Lhasa, there are only 2 cabins - 64 beds of Soft Sleepers, 8 Cabin-480 of Hard Sleepers, 2 cabins of 270 seats for
each train to Tibet. The tourist trains will also stop at five stations, including Kunlun Mountain Pass and Qiangtang Grassland. There tourists can take a short break
and get a close-up look at the scenic wonders. It is expected that five-star tourist trains, charging US$1,000 a day, will also eventually go into
service along this line.
