1 Arrive Jinan |
Arrive in Ji’nan, the capital of Shandong Province, also a city of 1,000 bubbling springs and lakes. Our guide will
pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. City tour includes the Baotu Springs (one of 72 famous
springs in Jinan), the Daming Lake and the Thousand Buddhas Mountain. (L-D) |

Day
2 JInan-Qufu-
Taian |
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Qufu, home of the great Chinese Philosopher, Confucius, who lived
2,500 years ago. Here you will have the opportunity to explore its heritage in the Confucius Temple, Confucius
Residence and the Confucius Forest. Then, go on driving to Tai’an. (B-L-D) |

Day
3 Taian-Qingdao |
Today’s highlight is to visit Mt. Tai that has been eulogized as the leader of the five sacred mountains in China.
The mountain is 1,545 meters above sea level and covers 426 square kilometers, boasting magnificent scenery,
splendid culture and an ancient history. You will take a cable car ride to visit the summit of Mt. Tai, revered over
the centuries in turn by the Taoists, Buddhists, Confucianists, and Taoists. Drive to Qingdao or take the train from
Jinan to Qingdao. Stay overnight in Qingdao. (B-L-D) |

Day 4 Qingdao |
Today you will enjoy the city tour in Qingdao including Xiaoyuguan Park, Eight Strategic Passes, Tsingtao Beer
Museum, No. 1 Bathing Beach, Zhanqiao Bridge and so on. |

Day 5 Qingdao-Mt.
Laoshan-Yantai |
Today’s highlight is to visit Mt. Laoshan, Full day tour to Mt. Laoshan, 30 km southeast of Qingdao and joining the
Yellow Sea. Visit the Taiqing Palace in Laoshan. Stay overnight in Yantai. (B-L-D)

Day 6 Yantai-Penglai-
Yantai |
After breakfast, go to visit Penglai, one of the three supernatural mountains inhabited by immortals and the
fairyland in the east. You will visit Penglai Pavilion, the water defense and the Old Market of Dengzhou. The
Penglai Pavilion was built in 1061, the six year of the reign by Emperor Jiayou of Bei Song Dynasty. It is listed as
one of the four famous pavilions in China together with Huanghelou Pavilion, Yueyanglou Pavilion and
Tengwangge Pavilion. East of the pavilion is the Penglai water city, one of the oldest military harbors in ancient
China, where there were facilities like dry docks, piers and emplacements, all against hills overlooking the sea.
