1 Arrive in Kunming |
Arrive in Kunming, known as the Spring city in China, the capital of Yunnan province. Pay a visit to the Bird and Flower Market, which is the most attractive shopping market where spring reigns all year, strolling on the market street, you can see shops and stalls of all sorts, especially those featuring flowers, birds, and fish. You also have chance to visit the Jinma & Biju Archway Twin Tower - the symbol building of Kunming. (L,D)

2 Kunming-Stone Forest |
Begin today's activity with a visit to Dragon Gate, the magnificent scenic place in Western Hill. Afternoon trip to Stone Forest in Lunan Yi Nationality, which is about 120km from Kunming. This area offers visitors a unique landscape of stark limestone pillars twisted and sculpted by wind and water erosion some 270 million year ago. From a distance, these stone pillars look indeed like a dense forest; hence the name of Stone Forest. Stay overnight there. (B,L,D)

3 Stone Forest-Sizhong-Xingyi |
Morning transfer to Xingyi via Sizhong. Xingyi is the southwest gate of entering Guizhou province. En route, visit the local tobacco farm and a local country market if time is proper. (B,L,D)

4 Xingyi |
Morning visit Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks (Wanfenglin), which spreads out like a fan from the edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau at an altitude of over 2,000 meters. Then, pay a visit to the Local Folk Museum of Wedding Rituals. In the afternoon, visit Maling River Gorge, considered as "the spectacular crevice of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau", its numerous permanent waterfalls and seasonal waterfalls form a unique and gorgeous view, and Heaven-star Gallery Scenic Attraction which needs 3 hours’ hiking. Stay overnight in Xingyi. (B,L,D)

5 Xingyi-Zhenfeng |
Morning transfer to Zhenfeng. En route, visit Aiyu Buyi People Village to see their traditional way of spinning and weaving. Then, explore Zuoqi Black Miao Village to discover women’s traditional costume with big earring, black turban and black cotton jacket. Then, drive to Xiaotun to see the ancient paper-making way from mulberry tree. (B,L,D)

6 Zhenfeng-Huangguoshu-Anshun |
Morning drive to Huangguoshu. En route, stop at Huajiang to view its grand valley. Then, explore a local Buyi People Village to appreciate its stone architecture. In the afternoon, explore the largest waterfall in China – Huangguoshu Waterfall, 81 meters wide and 74 meters in height. In flood season, the huge stream of pouring water makes the precipitous cliffs trembling. (B,L,D)

7 Anshun-Liuzhi-Anshun |
Full day excursion to Suoga Village for a visit to the long-horned Miao people, noted for their headdress consisting of many meters and weight (4-5 pounds) of braided hemp wrapped to form two enormous horns with hair from the wearer’s female ancestors. Their traditional clothes incorporate outstanding embroidery and batik. You will have a chance to see how they make their headdress. A performance will be arranged. Return to Anshun. (B,L,D)

8 Anshun-Guiyang |
Morning coach to Guiyang, the capital city of Guizhou province. En route, stop at Tianlong to visit a local Laohan Village best known for their Ground Opera or Dixi. The operas recreate ancient Chinese tales from the Three Kingdoms(220-265) period and Tang (618-907) dynasties. The performers will put wooden mask on their forehead to ensure their voice could be heard by the audience. Women’s traditional costumes come with long blue robes and white or black turban. Upon arrival in Guiyang, pay a visit to the Jiaxiu Pavilion, the symbol building of Guiyang. Overnight in Guiyang. (B,L,D)
