Henan province is the cradle of the China’s ancient civilization. Of the seven China’s ancient capitals the province has three including Luoyang, Kaifeng, and Anyang. Zhengzhou, Nanyang, Shangqiu and Junxian are the state – listed famous cultural and historic cities. There are 2 state – level nature reserves including Neixiang Baotianman and Mt. Jigong, and many key relics protection units. Mt. Songshan, the Middle Mountain, is in the pronvince. They from the layout of “three cities and five zones”. The 3 cities includes Zhengzhou(the hot line from Zhengzhou to Shaolin Temple), Kaifen, the ancient capital(the Song Dynasty Scene), and Luoyang(Longmen Grottoes and the White Horse Temple)

Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, has a venerated history of over 3,000 years. The Beijing-Guangzhou and Lanzhou-Lianyungang railways cross their ways in Zhengzhou, turning it into a major railway hub. Major attractions: ruins of a Shang-dynasty city, Henan Museum, Yellow River Tourist Zone, and Monument to February 7 Workers' Uprising.
