Chongqing was the secondary capital during the Anti C Japanese War Period. The tourist layout is one
city and one route. The one city is Chongqing, also called the Mountain City or River City, which
includes the South and North Hot Springs and the Rea Crag Village. The one route is the Three
Gorges o Yangtze Route. Kuimen C Wu Gorge C Ning River is the tourist golden triangle. In
Chongqing there are 4 state C level key scenic zones, 6 national key relics protection units. The
features are precipitous gorges, swift water, thick forest, and many historic sites. The Big Ninghe River
and the Small Ninghe River are named the Little and Mini Three Gorges Natural Galleries. The drift is
charming at the Wanshengs Tonggu Shoal and in the Wulongs Furong River, Mt. Jinyun and Mt. Jinfo
are both the national scenic zones. The stone carvings of Dazu are the representative work of the
image art during the later period of grotto arts in China, and the art palaces of the oriental combination
of the three religions(Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism). The Three Kingdoms Tourist Route include Yunyangs Zhang Fei Temple,
and Fengjies White King City. The ghost culture of Fengdu is well known at home and abroad.
