The brand-new Terminal Number 3 at Beijing Capital International Airport is slated to manage 65 million passengers a year after its inauguration in March 2008.
A major gateway for international visitors to take part in the 2008 Olympic Games, the new Terminal 3 will be the single largest airport terminal in the world with an advanced, computerized management system.
"To cope with the needs of the Olympics and Paralympics, the airport should provide world class services, improve management levels and conduct quality trainings and rehearsals," said Liu Qi, president of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) on Saturday.
