Begin today’s tour with visiting to the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, which is the most symbolized building of Guangzhou, and a key venue for the large-scale meetings and performances as well. Then visit the Memorial Hall of the Chen Family, also known as Guangdong Folk Art Museum, the largest and best preserved and decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. After breakfast, drive to Shenzhen, formally nominated as a 'special economic zone' from May 1980, the first one of its kind in China. You will visit the Lotus Hill Park named because of its shape, Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages. Splendid China is one of the largest and most elaborate miniature scenery parks in the world, depicting China’s history, art, culture, ancient architecture and folklore of ethnic groups. China Folk Culture Village is a large tourist center where folk arts, culture and architecture of China’s various nationalities are assembled in one area. It is the first of its kind in China. (B-L-D)
