Fly
to Lanzhou. Visit the Five Springs Park, White Pagoda Hills.(B-L) |

Lanzhou-Xiahe |
Drive
to Xiahe. Enjoy the beautiful landscape of the vast Sangke grassland Stay in Xiahe.(B-L-D) |

Day 6:
Xiahe-Lanzhou-Jiayuguan |
Visit
the Labrang Monastery. then drive back to Lanzhou. Take an overnight train to Jiayuguan with soft sleeper ( the first class in China ) . (B-L-D) |

Jiayuguan |
Arrive in Jiayuguan.Visit
Jiayuguan Pass, the western end of the Great Wall. Stay overnight

Drive
to Dunhuang.
Enjoy the Crescent Moon Lake surrounded by Mingsha Sand
Hill. At the foot of the hill you may want to take an optional

Dunhuang-Turpan |
Visit
one of most famous archaealogical discovery at the beginning of the
20th century--the Mogao Grottoes. Take a evening train to Turpan.

Explore
Turpan, renowned in China for its grapes and Hami melons. Visit the
Imin Mosque, the Astana Tombs, the ancient city sites of

Turpan -Urumqi |
Visit
the Karez Irrigation System the Thousand Buddha Caves and Flame
Mountain. Take a train to Urumqi and stay there. (B-L-D) |

Full
day excursion of the Heavenly Lake. After dinner, take a short
flight to Kashgar, one of the westernmost points of China.

the Abakh Hoja Tomb and the great Id Kah Mosque fronted by
the busy square. Then roam through Kashar's colorful Bazaar.(B-D) |

free day to explore the exotic Kashgar. You can book some optional
tours from the local guide if the weather and road conditions permitted.
