China Hotel Reservations

Can I make a reservation directly through the hotel itself?

Yes, clients can make a hotel room reservation through hotels directly. However, in most cases, it is nearly impossible for you to obtain a good price from the hotel itself, especially in high season.

What is the most suitable time to reserve a hotel?
Hotel reservation can be launched from 6 months in advance to a few hours before your possible check-in time. In order to surely guarantee your room reservation, we highly recommend you to make a booking one month earlier, especially for your reservation during the period of Chinese Spring Festival, Labor Day holiday, Chinese National Day holiday, and Canton Trade Fairs (Apr 14-30; Oct 14-31).

How do foreigners make reservations at Chinese hotels?
If you book a tour with us, hotel booking will be a part of our services which means you do not need to book hotels yourselves.
If you would like to book the hotel room only, there are usually two ways to do that. One is through a reliable hotel booking service and the other is to book with the hotel directly. No matter which you choose, you can make the reservation by phone, email, fax, letters etc. What you need to do is:
Provide your personal information such as name, sex, desired room category, check-in and check-out time and etc.
You will usually receive a response/confirmation within 24 hours.
You should notify the hotel of any change on your schedule in order to avoid any cancellation fees.

Can I specify my special need when I make the reservation?
Yes, for sure. Please let the hotel know your special need when you reserve the room. such as smoking room or Non-smoking room, king-sized bed or twin beds, etc.

Accommodations are more luxurious in the large and thriving cities like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Guangzhou, Xian and Shenzhen. Fewer luxury hotels can be found in smaller cities or remote areas. However, there are plenty of economical or standard hotels away from the larger cities that are clean, comfortable and safe.
