Zhejiang Province has state – level scenic zones including the West Lake in Hangzhou, 19 China’s key Relics Protection Units, 4 national nature reserves, and 4 national forest parks. Zhijiang of Hangzhou is the state – listed vacational zone. There are tea, silk, official kiln, Chinese herbs and 5 state – listed museum. There is “one zone and four routes”, namely, Hangzhou’s West Lake Scenic Zone and East, South, West, and North routes. The east Zhejiang Custom and Historic Site Route includes Shaoxing and Shangyu, two old cities, the old temples and libraries in Ningbo, a deepwater port, Zhoushan Island, one of the four China’s noted Buddhist Mountain, Chengsi Island, Xikou at Fenghua, and Yuyao’s Hemudu Ruins. The North Zhejiang Water Kingdom Route includes the spring tide in the Qiantang River at Haining, Jiaxing’s South Lake, Huzhou’s Mogan Mountain, and enjoying the Taihu Lake scenery along the old Grand Canal. The West Zhejiang Noted Mountains and Rivers Tour Route includes Fuchun River – Xin’an River – Qiandao Lake(Chun’an Connty), Tianmu Mountain Forest Park, and Tonglu’s Yaolin. The South Zhejiang Unusual Mountain and River Route includes “three Yan”(Beiyan, Zhongyan and Nanyan), Nanxi River, Mt. Tiantai, Jinhua, and Lishui. Their characteristic is of jaged rocks and hanging waterfalls. Besides there are the Farmer’s Pleasure Tour, Qiantang River Tide – watching Festival, and Huangdaxian’s Former Residence Custom Tour.

The capital of Zhejiang Province is poised on the lower reaches of Qiantang River and the southern Terminal of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
