The relics and historic sites gather together in Shaanxi Province. The twelve ancient dynasties founded their capital here. There are 72 huge imperial mausoleums and over 700 places with the various ancient architectures. This ranks first in China. The Qin TerraCotta Soldier and Horse Figures are known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and listed in the World Cultural Heritage List. With Xi’an as the center, the various scenic spots from the ten tourist zones. The Xi’an Old Capital Tourist Zone includes the city walls of the Ming Dynasty and temples and pagodas of the Tang Dynasty. The Lintong’s Mt. Lishan Scenic Zone includes Qin Shihuang’s Cemetery and the imperial villas of from Zhou to Tang dynasties; the Chang’an Old Temple Tourist Zone includes Xiangji Temple; the Xianyang Imperal Mausoleums Tourist Zone includes the Qianling Mausoleum and Maoling Mausoleum; the Famen Temple Tourist Zone; the Yanan Tourist Zone; the Huanghe River Tourist Zone includes Hukou Waterfall, the Dragon Gate, and the Hancheng Old Civil Residence; the Mt. Huashan Tourist Zone; the North Shaanxi Loess Folklore Tourist Zone; the Qinling Ridge Mt. Taibai Forest Park Tourist Zone. The special tourist routes include the “Silk Road Tour”, the “Loess Folk Custom Tour”, the “Emperor Huang Mausoleum Tour”, the “Three Kingdoms Tour” and the “Chosen Huanghe River Tour”. The tourist festivals include the Xi’an Ancent Culture Festival, the Chang’an International Calligraphy Annual Meeting, the Lintong Pomegranate Festival, and the Xiangyang International Medicine & Health Care Festival.

Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province with a 3,000-year history, was known as Chang's in ancient times. For 1,062 years the city had been capital for 13 dynasties, and a total of 73 emperors had ruled China there. That is why the land of the city is pockmarked with cultural relics and historical ruins. The mausoleum of Qinshihuang and his mighty army of terracotta warriors and horses are world-famous attractions. The other scenes and sights include Banpo Village Ruins, Greater and Lesser Wild-Goose Pagodas, Bell tower and Drum Tower, City Wall, Xingjiao Temple, Famen Temple, Shaanxi History Museum, Xi'an Stele Forest, and Grand Mosque. The celebrated Silk Road began in Xi'an.
