Liaoning province is known for its seashore, noted mountains, the heavy industry base, and the birthplace of Man Ethnic Group. The three noted mountains of the province include Qianshan, Phenix, and Yiwulu. Anshan, Fushun, Shenyang and Benxi are the heavy industry cities in China. The birthplace of the Qing Dynasty include Shenyang Imperial Palace, the Original Capital at Xinbin, the East Capital at Liaoyang, the Thriving Capital at Shenyang. With Dalian as the center there are the Seashore Tourist Route Zone, the Jinshitan Tourist Zone at state – level, and Xianyu Tourist Zone in the west suburb of Dalian, others include Hutan Amusement Park, Snake Island, Bird Island, Dalian Enjoy – Chinese – Scholartree Party, and Garment Festival. Shenyang is the state – level famous cultural and historic city. There are the Qing Steet, the Locomotive Museum, Mt. Huishan, Strange Slop, and the Folk Dance Festival. The east wing includes the border tour at Dandong, the beautiful scenery of Qingshangou and the Yalu River, the Korea and Man Folklore Tour. The west wing has a corridor of cultural relics and mountain – and – sea scenery around Jinxi and Jinzhou, which includes Huludao Stone Tablet, Xingcheng Sea Shore, Suizhong Wangjia Stone Tablet, and the ruins of Qin and Han dynasties.
Capital: Shenyang
Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, and a major industrial city. In 1625, Nurhaci, founder of the Jin, moved his capital to Shenyang, which later became the capital of the Manchus before they took control of central China. Much of Shenyang's rich historical heritage is attributed to the Qing's formative years.
