The number and beautiful shape of the volcanos in Jilin Province ranks first in China. The province is noted for the last emperor’s capital and the Korean Ethnic Custom. There are 10 tourist zones, 13 nature reserves including the Grus japonensis, 8 national forest parks including Mt. Changbai. Now they have opened “2 routes, 5 tourist zones and 3 festivals”. The 2 routes include the hot route and the new route. The hot route is Changchun – Jilin – Songhua Lake – Mt. Changbai – Yanbian. The new route is the Three Kingdoms Border Tourist Route which start from Huichun, along the Tumen River and The Yalu River, to Ji’an. The 5 tourist zones include the Changchun Tourist Zone with the former residence of the puppet Manchurian imperial palace and the ministries, Changchun Film Studio, the First Auto Manufecturer, and the deer park; Jilin Tourist Zone with meteorolite, icicles, and Songhua Lake; Mt. Changbai Tourist Zone joins the biosphere protection net of UNESCO, the Heaven Pool is on the top of Mt. Changbai, there is also the Yanbian Korean Folklore Tourist Zone; West Jilin Grassland Tourist Zone; and Tonghua Tourist Zone with Korean historic sites. The 3 festivals include Changchun Film Festival, Jilin Rime Ice & Snow Festival, and Yanbian Korean Folklore Festival. Besides there are Mt. Changbai Forest Tourist Festival, Guandong Excitement Festival, Fusong Ginseng Festival, and Longjing Apple and Pear Festival.
