Guangdong Province is indeed a winter resort in China. It adjoins Hong Kong and Macao. The Hong Kong – Macao – Guangzhou Golden Triangle is a developing tourist zone and an overseas Chinese living area. There are 6 state – listed famous cultural and historic cities including Guangzhou, Chaozhou, Zhaoqing, Foshan, Meizhou and Haikang. Other tourist centers are Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, and Zhanjian. Guangzhou and Shenzhen are two largest tourist centers. Guangzhou is praised as the Flower City and Deliciously City, and it has Chenjia Ancestral Hall, Liurong(Six - Banyan) Temple, Zhongshan Memorial Hall, and etc. In Shenzhen there are three noted parks including Splendid China Miniature Scenic Spot, China Folk Culture Village, and Window of the World. The province has a layout of “one zone and four routes”. The “one zone” is the Zhujiang Delta Tourist Zone(Guangzhou – Shenzhen – Zhuhai ) including Humen and Sun Yat – sen’s former home. The East Guangdong Route(Chaozhou, Meizhou, and Shantou) has the feature of the Hakkas culture. The West Guangdong Route(Zhanjiang and Maoming, the seashore cites) is the seashore sightseeing and vacational resort. The North Guangdong Route includes Shaoguan, Renhua, Nine Rapids and Eighteen Shoals, Nanhua Temple and Mt. Danxia. The Xijiang Route includes the “First Temple” of Foshan, the painted pottery of Shiwan, Zhaoqing’s Seven – Star Crag, Mt. Dinghu, Mt. Xiqiao of Nanhai, and Gui Peak at Jianmen.

Guangzhou, the "City of Lambs", is capital of Guangdong Province, a well-known historical and cultural city and south China's leading industrial and commercial city and trade port. Vegetation is evergreen and flowers bloom all the year round thanks to a moist subtropical climate. There are more than 150 famed scenes and sights in Guangzhou, and a good variety of modern facilities for recreation and entertainment. China Guangdong Export Commodities Fair takes place twice a year in Guangzhou. Major attractions: Chens' Ancestral Temple, Baiyun Mountain, Zhenhai Tower, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Temb of King of Nanyue Kingdom, and Yuexiu Park.
